For successful strategy work according to the from idea to value® approach of Seidenschwarz & Comp., writing "strategy papers" can not be the only answer.

If the following questions can be answered positively one can speak of a “strategy”:

  • Does the strategy create a unique selling proposition?
  • Is the strategy creating lastingness?
  • Does the strategy change the market balance to ones own favor?
  • Is the company fast enough with the new strategy?
  • Is the strategy consistently communicated?
  • Is the strategy consistently broken down to all employees?
  • Is the strategy consequently implemented?
  • Is the strategy consequently reviewed and developed?

Out of this understanding a strategy procedure has been developed that integrates the corresponding change process with a clear view of the later strategy implementation (“impact-focused”). According to our understanding, strategy development and implementation are of the same importance as the content work, given that the intention to implement a strategy is taken seriously.

Depending on the respective style of leadership in a company, strategy processes can be distinctive. To bring a consistent strategy “on the ground”, “easy-to-use” answers must be developed out of a strategy process for all relevant strategic elements.
